Blue plaque in Ulverston
On a very wet Saturday 20th September 2025, the Mayor of Ulverston unveiled the official blue plaque on the house Stan Laurel was born in. We then went back to the Museum for a glass of fizz, a charity auction, a musician, a magician, a great cake and a screening of the documentary about Bill Cubin. It was a great day, despite being damp and cold! - in Ulverston.
