Saps at Sea Tent of Southend-on-Sea
The Saps at Sea meet on the second Sunday of every month. The October meeting (on 12th) was their birthday. The tent has a new start time for meetings - 5pm. They meet at the Royal Naval and Military Club at the bottom of the high street. in Southend

We held our Octember meeting on Wednesday 8th and were delighted to welcome guests Harry Hoppe and Eric Woods.
We had a huge raffle with donations from both Eric and Harry, some of which will be held back for future meetings.
Big business was done with this year’s Christmas cards and my new book - ‘You Don’t Believe Me’ - all proceeds for charity.

Next day, Mike took Harry on a tour of places with connections with Stan's early years in the North East of England. Included was a photo session with the statue of Stan in Bishop Auckland.
