WILLIE McINTYRE reflects on the 44th UK Convention in May

Kevin Dean perfectly captured the music of the Shadows and the Tornadoes.

 

Mark Shortland is an accomplished master of comedy magic and his spell worked well on the Sons at the Convention.

 

Everyone loves the music of Buddy Holly, so Spencer J was assured a great reception.

Sons Entertain is a highlight I always relish. Leading the talented Sons was a duck! If you guessed it was Mad Paul, you would be spot on.

Free time in Norwich was followed by a cruise on the Broads.

At the Games there were many winners and all games had a Laurel and Hardy theme.

Worthy winners in the Fancy Dress Competition were Julia Barlow and Gary Winstanley of the Dirty Work Tent (Wigan).
