Curious cartoon
Willie McIntyre and I met Mark Butcher (right) at the Laurel & HarDay. He is particularly interested in the 1930s Laurel & Hardy club, very popular in Europe at that time.
Mark has obtained an original letter, written by Stan, from the Savoy Hotel. He has had the signature independently assessed, and has confirmed the stationery with the hotel.
The letter itself is not that unusual, but the little 'cartoon' and the reversal of 'Hardy & Laurel' have sparked his interest. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Mark is not looking for a valuation, just any information. He also collects the metal pin badges from the L&H club, from the 1930s.
