Convention in jeopardy

We have some shocking news to share.

We found out yesterday that the Strathallan Hotel is unable to host the convention, because they are no longer open to the general public. The hotel is part of the Best Western chain, so this was totally unexpected.

The news has come as a complete bolt out of the blue, as in recent communications with them, there was no indication that there might be a problem.

We are now desperately trying to find another hotel – that can accommodate us, at an affordable price. We don’t have that many options for an alternative hotel at such a late stage. So, we may have to cancel the convention. We hope it won’t come to this and will do our very best to find a solution.

We will make a decision by the end of January. And of course, if we do have to cancel, we will refund your money.

As I’m sure you can imagine, we are feeling quite devastated. This is not the Christmas message we were hoping to send out to everyone. We will keep you informed and give you more information as soon as we are able.
